Impacted Tooth Exposure

Impacted Tooth Exposure

Some individuals are told by their orthodontists that they have impacted teeth that are stuck and cannot come out of gums. An impact tooth exposure is a procedure in which the unerupted tooth is located and exposed to the oral environment. Often, an orthodontic bracket is also bonded to the impacted tooth at the time of surgery to allow orthodontist later on to move this tooth to the desirable position inside the mouth.
